WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki [pronounced ray-key] was rediscovered in Japan in the 19th century by Dr. Mikao Usui. Rei refers to the “Higher Power or God’s Wisdom,” and Ki is “Life Force Energy.” It is not a religion and has no dogma. It is an energy healing modality that is used by practitioners to increase someone’s supply of life force energy. Life force energy is also known as Qi in China, Ki in Japan, Prana in India, Light in Christianity or biofield energy as described by science.
This Japanese technique aids stress reduction, relaxation, and openness — which together promote healing. For example, if the life force energy is low, then the person is more prone to sickness, disease, and/or stress.
It is subtle and cumulative in its effects, meaning that the more the reiki energy builds up in your system, the more it helps to restore balance and targets the energy fields around the body.
As a Reiki Practitioner, I draw upon Universal Life Force Energy to facilitate emotional, mental, and physical healing. I am able to detect the location of blockages and negative energy patterns within the body's energy field and chakras.
Once detected, I am able to change this energy pattern by channelling a positive healing energy through my body and out of my hands. This re-balances the body's energy field and chakras, and restores the natural flow of energy running throughout the body, raising the body's vibration.
Reiki sessions will be done remotely over zoom conferencing. Distance Reiki sessions are just as effective as in-person treatments, allowing patients to receive healing in the comfort of their own home. Since energy can be felt, received, and sent to any location at any time - you do not have to be in the my physical space to get a powerful healing and intuitive connection.
